The Leadership Academy hosted in Baku, Azerbaijan in December was very successful thanks to the high level recognition from host country Azerbaijan’s Government leaders.
Special Olympics leaders can find no better example of the power of leadership than Special Olympics athletes, according to Edward Carwardine of UNICEF. The key to unlocking that greatness is work with children. "The athletes you work with every day personify greatness," he said.
Special Olympics Azerbaijan recently hosted the Special Olympics Leadership Academy – which is designed to strengthen leadership capabilities across the movement.
