Badminton World Federation President Poul-Erik Høyer has hailed a new proclamation as “an important opportunity to support the Special Olympics community and to grow the sport in a new and untapped direction."
On 1 October, Special Olympics France athletes spent quality times with employees of Coca Cola Enterprises in Paris, France. Together, in pairs, they participated in fun sports exercises which everyone excelled at.
The goal of the game, which was attended by FIBA Europe President Turgay Demirel and FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak as well as former French national team player and ambassador for Special Olympics in France Aymeric Jeanneau was to raise awareness of the talents of these individuals and work towards inclusion.
