Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics continues to strengthen ties with universities across Europe. Most recently Special Olympics hosted a workshop just days ahead of the 2016 European Congress Adapted Physical Activity (EUCAPA) Congress at Palacky University in Czech Republic.
