Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Europe Eurasia Floorball Seminar was hosted in Riga, Latvia this past weekend with a fully rounded agenda.
Coaches and PE teachers were trained by lecturers from Latvian Football Frederation (LFF) on 27 May in Riga.
The Latvian Special Olympics delegation who represented their country in the 2014 European Games in Antwerp, Belgium last September were invited to meet the President of the Republic of Latvia Mr Andris Berzins.
