The Moroccan Special Olympics athlete Mohamed El Nasary is really extra special.
Under the patronage of King Mohamed VI, The 2016 9th Special Olympics Morocco National Games kicked off on 22 May 2016 in Ifrane, Morocco, with the participation of 2000 athletes.
Special Olympics coaches from Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Algeria and host country Morocco took part in a sports training program in early November.
Every day, all around the Middle-East North Africa region, Special Olympics athletes train and strive as they train for the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer games in Los Angeles from 25 July- 2 August 2015.
Special Olympics leaders from the Middle East-North Africa Region reviewed major accomplishments of the last year and discussed key issues at the Regional Advisory Council meeting in Morocco.
