Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. A Row Raiser is a chance to raise funds for Special Olympics athletes by rowing a marathon with a team of 10 people. Special Olympics is a global organization that unleashes the human spirit through the transformative power and joy of sport, every day around the world. Special Olympics Illinois is a not-for-profit organization offering year-round training and competition in 18 sports for more than 23,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and nearly 20,000 Young Athletes ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics transforms the lives of people with intellectual disabilities, allowing them to realize their full potential in sports and in life.
Join us for a fun shoot for all levels of shooters, novice to expert. Event will include Vendor Area, 50/50, door prizes, and live gun auction. Eye protection and ear protection required. Disabled Vets shoot for free and have the additional option of shooting pistols. Registration is at 10:30am and shooting starts at noon.
