This event provides candidates the unique opportunity to engage with the OSC hiring team, with the aim of becoming part of their dedicated crossing guard team. The event takes place on July 17th from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the OSC head office, 301 Moodie St, Suite 103, Ottawa ON. During the event, candidates will hear a presentation from the OSC hiring team about the role, engage in a 15-minute Q&A period, and partake in a mini 1-1 interview with a member of the OSC hiring team. A team of Jake’s House staff and volunteers will be available to guide candidates through the event and assist with any needs or accommodations candidates might need.
 
The only requirements for this event are that candidates must be over the age of 16 and complete our candidate registration form.

Differentiate between intellectual & developmental disabilities, understand some best practices, identify diagnosis criteria, go over techniques to help establish a therapeutic rapport with patients/clients with these diagnosises.

Participants will be able to create their own graffiti style art work using an array of tools, including spray paints, under the support of Lee who will be on hand to share ideas and guide their creativity.
