Colin Farrell understands the unique challenges of having a child with special needs. At the age of two, his now 14-year-old son James was diagnosed with Angelman syndrome, a genetic disorder that affects the nervous system and can cause developmental delays, speech impairment and intellectual disability.
This Association was founded in Perth to support the families of children and adults with Angelman Syndrome and to raise awareness of this rare genetic condition which affects 1 in about 20,000 births.
