The Afikim Elementary School was established in 1998 for girls ranging in age from 6 to 17 who suffer from a variety of difficult learning disabilities, together with other emotional and behavioral issues.  Unfortunately, they cannot be accommodated in the normative school settings.  

Afikim provides them with the setting they need in order to succeed, small classes, individual therapy programs, and para professional assistance. The girls gain self confidence, social skills, self respect and respect for others.
