trueNorth Medical Centres provides comprehensive addiction medicine services to individuals within Ontario who are facing substance use challenges. This program operates on a non-urgent, walk-in basis where people receive access to assessment and treatment within the same visit. Medical treatment plans and supports are offered based on the unique needs and goals of the individual.
MATES (Mentor Assistance Through Education and Support) is a counselling-based, one-to-one peer support program offered by the Federation of Students (FEDs) and UW Counselling Services. MATES provides services to students who are experiencing social difficulties, mental health challenges, and transitional challenges adapting to university life or different cultures.

We offer coping skills seminars and workshops where students can learn about different ways to manage or overcome obstacles. There are therapy groups where students can hear from others experiencing similar life situations. We offer peer support options and there are opportunities to connect for an individual appointment.

The MS Society provides services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families and funds research to find the cause and cure for this disease. We have a membership of 28,000 and are the only national voluntary organization in Canada that supports both MS research and services. Since our founding in 1948, the core support of the MS Society has been from tens of thousands of dedicated individuals, companies and foundations in communities across Canada.
