The AccessAbility lab is part of the Student AccessAbility Centre. The lab is located in room 2E.15. The lab is equipped with eight computers, height adjustable desks, a SmartBoard, a printer, a scanner, and a number of specialized software packages and devices to address a wide variety of learning needs.
The OSD runs a computer lab in Room RM-16 of the Redpath Library. The lab is located on the main floor, next door to the Printing Room. The lab has 9 PCs. Printers and scanners are also available. This lab is open during all library hours and an OSD technician will be holding regular office hours there during the days. Assistance with learning computer skills is available by appointment.
Our department offers a variety of services that enable students with documented disabilities to pursue college studies. We assist students with hearing, visual, or motor/coordination impairments, learning disabilities, mental health issues, or chronic medical conditions. Aid is available to both day and evening division students enrolled in credit courses. Those with temporary disabilities resulting from accidents or illness can also use our centre.
