Because many workplaces reward constant, uninterrupted output, they often leave little room for the lived reality that capacity can change from day to day; when disabilities are episodic, they may be invisible, unpredictable, and variable, so accommodations can’t be one-size-fits-all. With that in mind, Realize invites you to a virtual dialogue exploring the workplace realities of episodic disabilities, with a special focus on fluctuating capacity.
Realize will host a virtual national workshop for employers, managers, supervisors, and HR staff to promote meaningful change in Canadian workplaces by improving accessibility and accommodation for women and gender-diverse people with episodic disabilities, grounded in lived experiences of autism and neurodivergence and supported by key statistics, resources, and practical tips.
