As many as 1 out of every 5 people in the United States have some degree of a learning disability. The most common is dyslexia representing 80% of all learning disabilities. This Dyslexia Dash is an event to benefit the KS/MO IDA. This non-profit organization is dedicated to helping teachers, individuals with dyslexia, their families, and the communities that support them. All race proceeds will go towards the spreading of dyslexia awareness along with funding for teacher training and student reading scholarships.
