Hi Folks!
We've teamed up with The Wellness Centre and CUSA Gender and Sexuality Resource Centre to give women and non-binary students with disabilities a safe space to discuss the realities of navigating ableism and sexism, and how these experiences may differ for queer, BIPOC, visibly and invisibly disabled students.
We are ecstatic to announce that this year’s discussion will be led by Clary Chambers, Spark Clarity Founder, Inspirational Speaker and Coach. Clary is a former PMC student, CUSA Food Centre Coordinator and CarletonU alum. We highly, highly, highly recommend you check out her Facebook page Spark Clarity, website (Sparkclarity.ca), and 44sec YouTube clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avUxg6v_Y4w
If you identify as a queer student you may also want to attend our second closed discussion "Queerness, Disability & Mental Health" held Wednesday, November 7th (also led by Clary).
