Transition and Disability in the Workplace: For families raising a child with a disability who is transitioning out of the school system, there can be a lot of anxiety and questions about what comes next. This seminar will focus on what should transition planning should look like and what resources are available to you. Ketrina, a 25 year-old woman with Cerebral Palsy, will share her personal experiences navigating her journey through high school, IEPs, planning for the future, and job assistance resources that exist for young adults with disabilities. Ketrina currently serves as the Self Advocacy Lead in New York City for the Regional Center for Workforce Transformation. Use this conversation to connect, gain resources, and ask questions in a supportive environment.
