The Disability Service invites all staff at GCU to attend an informal session sharing guidance on inclusive and accessible teaching practices.
Each session will introduce a condition or impairment providing guidance to enable you to understand how this impacts on a person’s day-to-day life at University and help you to identify the potential barriers to their learning.
The sessions are specifically tailored to teaching. We will cover topics related to lectures, seminars, assessments, communication and coursework.
We actively encourage staff input and hope that you might share thoughts and ideas for teaching methods and approaches.
