This workshop will look at why and how dyslexia impacts on your reading. We will explore how support and facilities provided at GCU can help you in becoming confident and effective in your learning at university. This will include a focus on using assistive technology to help you get through large volumes of reading while better retaining information. We will try out read-back software (available on University computers and mobile devices) as well as strategies and techniques for improving your reading and comprehension.
This workshop is open to new and returning students at GCU.
