Many children with autism and related disabilities have trouble following directions. This seminar will review reasons why children do not follow directions, and provide different pathways for parents and educators to address these issues. Behavioral supports such as prompt hierarchies, shaping and delivery of directions will be covered. Dr Terri Daly, BCBA-D will lead the session and Q & A afterward.
