CPES Novelles Developmental Services was formed for the purpose of providing increased opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to experience life in the community. Novelles Developmental Services works with individuals to provide day program services; experience volunteer jobs, explore work options, learn self-help skills, and provide community integration.
The Opportunity:
CPES Novelles Developmental Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals (Care Giver) to support individuals, in their homes and at a Day Program setting. You should be compassionate, responsible, and trustworthy. Must be able to work with Individuals with developmental disabilities and who are interested in having a positive impact on the lives of others.
Qualifications:
The DSP should have Good oral and written communication ♦
High School Diploma or equivalent ♦ Valid Driver’s License, and Clean Driving Record ♦ Ability to pass fingerprint background check ♦ Ability to pass pre-employment physical, and a TB test ♦ Some lifting required ♦ Motivated and enthusiastic ♦ Enjoy teaching others to increase their independence ♦ Prior experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities.
