The Youth Employment Support Committee (YES) would like to invite you and youth that you work with to attend the Focus On Ability Employment Forum that is being held on Thursday, November 22nd from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm at the Discovery Centre @ Fort Henry.
This event will bring together youth, educators, employment program staff, disability service providers and others who help youth with a disability in KFL&A find suitable employment when they leave school.
YES is a community based Collective Impact committee and WE NEED YOUR INPUT as we move into the next phase of our project - implementing the supports & services that are the priories for our community.
This is a follow up event to a community gathering that was held in the Spring of 2016 where we came together to identify the gaps in services and solutions that will make a difference for youth who want help to find suitable employment when they finish school.
We believe that it is important to have the perspective of youth included in our planning process and would like your help to find youth who would like to attend this event.
We will be serving a morning snack & lunch as part of this event.
Please reserve your seats for this event by ordering tickets on this page. Space is limited and there is no cost to attend.
Please check out our website for more information about YES and to contact us if you have any questions.
