DiscoverAbility Forum

Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 7 AM - 9 AM EST

Canadian Business SenseAbility has partnered with local employment agencies in Sarnia Lambton to present the DiscoverAbility Forum. This forum is targeted for local employers to come learn from local inclusion champions, the real, proven advantages, for a business that employs people with disabilities. People with disabilities an under-utilized pool of talent, however many studies demonstrate that hiring people with disabilities has a positive impact on business growth and can give the business the competitive advantage it needs. Key Note speaker Lisa Kelly from Canadian Business SenseAbility will provide the business case of hiring people with disabilities, and present an online toolkit that is designed to provide employers with a “roadmap” that outlines the benefits of hiring those with disabilities, and the tools they need to start hiring the talent they are looking for.

Hiring people with disabilities is not just “doing the right thing,” it is “doing the smart thing for your business.”

Come join us on March 7th, 2018 at the Holiday Inn from 7:00am-9:00am. Breakfast will promptly be set out at 7:00am, with our Keynote Speaker beginning at 7:20am sharp, followed by our panel of Inclusion Champions.
Local Community Service booths will be available to visit between 7:00am and 7:20am, and 8:30am-9:00am, giving you an opportunity for networking and connecting with local service providers who can assist you inclusive hiring plans!
