Join us for a unique and first of its kind online career mentoring experience for neurodivergent youths (along with their parents) and adults wanting to explore and build a meaningful and fulfilling career as a small business owner. The course curriculum was designed by Maisie Soetantyo, an autistic inclusivity trainer, with a background in Instructional and Curriculum Design. Content was put together with input from autistic adults, and each topic will be taught by autistic adults and community experts. Included in each class is an opportunity to ask a panel of autistic small business owners.
During each class, autistic leaders share their stories, successes and bumps along the road. Participants will be guided to consider their special interests, autistic expressions, sensory differences, communication and learning preferences to create a balanced personal and work productivity. Autistic youths and their parents will work on special interest explorations and exciting career possibilities!
We will provide a resource list and best practices for participants to work on a career template.
