Over one million people in the US have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) -the second most common neurodegenerative disease globally. Its chronic nature disturbs motor and non-motor systems, causing a wide range of complex physical and social implications that vary by person and disease progression. Recognizing many unmet needs, The Continuum continues to develop comprehensive programs for people with PD, their care partners, family and friends- as well as educating our community. It takes a village.
