Families with children and other dependents with special needs, no matter what the age or disability, face many serious questions about how to best prepare for their future well-being. This workshop addresses such critical issues as protecting government benefit eligibility for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid, creating Special Needs Trusts, the importance of a Will, Guardianship, Financial Strategies and considering a Letter of Intent. The workshop will also address the ABLE Accounts, which are tax-advantaged savings accounts for qualified individuals with disabilities and their families.
