Webinar:Fairness - What does this mean for a diverse workplace and society?

Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM EST

With changing times and mindsets, workplaces recognise that diversity and fairness is more than a goodwill gesture but has a direct impact on the profitability and likeability of organisations. Nowadays workplaces encourage recruitment from varied economic backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, disabilities and skills, and should aim to give everyone equal opportunity and fair treatment.

Highlighting the power of being inclusive, equal and diverse Nic Erevik, Group Treasurer of Newcastle Building Society and Olivia Maguire, CFA Portfolio Manager at JP Morgan Asset Management and chair of the CFA UK Inclusion & Diversity Committee and Network will talk about the opportunities and challenges of creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace, focusing on gender and disability. The session will look to explore what fairness means when ensuring that recruitment and promotion are equally accessible for all.

Where recordings are made, these are a member benefit that are accessed through the member-only platform, CFA UK Discover.
