The World Blind Union – Asia Pacific (WBUAP) is a non-governmental and not-for-profit association, and one of the six regions of the World Blind Union (WBU). Our aims are to:

  • work towards the advancement and well-being of blind and vision impaired people (otherwise referred to as “blind”) through equalisation of opportunities and full participation in society with dignity,
  • raise awareness of the capabilities of blind people,
  • and strengthen the self-help movements to further the interests of blind people.
