Swimming has come a long way in recent years, and is now in an exciting time for Canadian swimmers across all the provinces and territories. One of the original sports of the modern Olympic Games, swimming has been a staple of the Canada Summer Games since 1969. The event has grown at the Games to include not only able-bodied swimmers, but also para athletes and special Olympians. Swimming events will be held at Brock University at the Eleanor Misener Aquatics Centre and at the Welland International Flatwater Centre.
