Starfire's journey was informed by deeper work around Wolf Wolfensberger's theory of Social Role Valorization (SRV). This is a helpful lens and practice for building good lives for people with disabilities and inclusive communities.
Tim will be presenting Starfire's unique blend of SRV and John O’Brien’s Five Valued Experiences in a 2-part series. Free to community, families, learners, and all.
Starfire is a visionary organization working to build better lives for people with disabilities. The data is clear; people with disabilities grow increasingly lonely and isolated as adults. Working with one person and their family at a time, Starfire connects people to relationships and uncovers a person's talents and passions - so they can thrive in their communities alongside their neighbors.
