Special Needs Planning and Pensions

Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM BST

You are a parent or carer of a child with Special Needs. You may have put a Will in place, to protect their future, but what about your pensions?

If you have a workplace or personal pension does that need to be in Trust to protect your son or daughter with a learning disability? How are pensions passed down the generations and what can you do to ensure you are not risking your child's financial future and stability?

Rhiannon Gogh FPFS is mum to an autistic boy and a Chartered Financial Adviser, who aims to educate and empower parents like her. Setting up Trusts and making provision for a child with a learning disability can be a minefield. Our sessions aim to help parents navigate the maze that is financial planning for families touched by disability.

Trusts are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Rhiannon Gogh Financial Planning is an Appointed Representative of and represents only St. James's Place Wealth Management plc (which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority) for the purpose of advising solely on the group's wealth management products and services, more details of which are set out on the group's website www.sjp.co.uk/products.
