Simple Support Strategies when Working with Neurodivergent Colleagues

Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11 AM - 12 PM BST

This accessible workshop webinar is suitable for anyone seeking ways to better support employees, colleagues, clients, friends or family members who are neurodivergent.

Neurodiversity is the concept that neurological differences should be both recognised and respected, in the same way as any other human variation.

These differences include those labelled with Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (better known as ADHD or ADD), Dyscalculia, Autistic Spectrum (including Asperger’s) and Tourette’s Syndrome.

Feedback from previous webinar for the British Library:

The presentation was fantastic and I think it was really lovely having so much time to go over questions from colleagues. It was so informative and helpful, and I’m sure lots of the attendees (including myself) will feel really supported and empowered to receive the support they need thanks to your time! It’s really nice to see things like this begin to pop up more and more at the BL.

Thank you for this, really, really helpful, especially the reminder/confirmation, that what will help, helps us all, so the methods and approaches to inclusivity don't need to be seen as targeted, so much as best practice.
