SHORT BREAK SERVICES for children with disabilities and or additional needs

Provider Forum Online Event - 9 am to 11 am

The London Borough of Hillingdon is looking to develop the provider market for activities for our children and young people with disabilities or additional needs as part of developing their Local Offer.  

We are keen to engage with local providers who offer services direct to families for their children, located either within the London Borough area or reasonably close.

We welcome you joining the online forum so we can share the application process to be part of the services advertised offering short breaks.

We are looking for providers that could deliver the following outcomes:

• offer services which promote both inclusion and participation;
• encourage the development of social skills and promote friendship;
• enable children and young people to be involved in a wide range of activities in a safe way;

We are looking for dynamic organisations who are experienced in providing services for children and young people with disabilities or additional needs. We understand that options may include linking with existing services in the community such as leisure centres and supporting inclusion in mainstream services.

There will be an online application form process to advertise, the application will be assessed by a multi-department panel. Companies who can evidence experience, safe services and well trained staff will be considered.
