In honor of Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, the Finley Recreation Center invites you to join us for an afternoon full of fun, food, education, and enlightenment. The purpose of this event is to embrace our mental health struggles by teaching people that it is okay to have mental health, but most importantly, it is okay to seek out help. Come and learn from our workshops and participate in behavior health screenings sponsored by the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disability Services (DBHIDS). Hear from a professional therapist from The Ladipo Group. Experience creative expressions of the mental health struggle within the black community by engaging in the open mic session. Take advantage of mental health resources from various organizations like Philly Fight, DBHIDS, The Ladipo Group, Mental Health Partnership and more.
