This interactive webinar will be hosted by Emma Barclay, Head of Clinical Services at St. Anns Hospice, and will consider the following:

  • What is palliative rehabilitation and how does it differ from rehabilitative palliative care?
  • Role of Occupational Therapy in inspiring and leading change.
  • Using the model for improvement in the hospice setting.
  • Reflection on learning so far
  • Opportunity to network and share ideas/challenges.

Speaker Bio

Emma has worked as an Occupational Therapist for 23 years in a range of health and social care settings. The last 6 years in palliative care at St Ann’s hospice as Occupational Therapist and Rehabilitation Team Leader before taking her current post, as Head of Clinical Services.

Emma also holds partner roles with HCPC in relation to CPD and fitness to practice.

Emma is passionate about high quality person centred rehabilitative palliative care, the value of Occupational Therapy and leading change as an Occupational Therapis
