This workshop will be lead by trainers from Empowering People for Inclusive Communities (EPIC). EPIC is a Boston organization that prepares young people living with disabilities who are transitioning into adulthood to be community leaders. The trainers will be people living with disabilities who have lived experience and are trained in leading community workshops on these topics. Participants will gain an increased understanding of ableism and learn how to address institutional ableism in order to help create more inclusive environments.
