The pre-SHIFT orientation day is offered to any student who may benefit from the additional support of an early introduction to the post-secondary environment. A morning and afternoon session will be offered (students only have to attend one of these sessions) in which staff from Academic Accommodation Support will review the schedule for SHIFT, prepare students for SHIFT week, and offer both campus and Student Learning Centre tours. Student Accommodation Facilitators will be available to answer questions about Academic Accommodation Support and transitioning to university.
