Position: Events Researcher

Team: Internal

Role: As the events researcher for the Paracor Initiative you will be responsible for researching disability or accessibility events happening in Canada (Ottawa initially). Once an event is identified you will need to fill out the Paracor Event input form and add that event to the Paracor database.

If the Paracor community recommends an event that we don’t have in our database yet, it will be your responsibility to verify that the information is correct and then approve or make changes to the form before its added to the database.

Occasionally changes to a listed event may be needed, as well.

It is considered an asset if you have connections in the disability/accessibility events community already.

Training:
As soon as you apply and are accepted for this position we’ll help you get situated in the team and answer any questions you may have regarding your role. We will also educate you in regards to proper communication in the disability area.
