OCWSA started in 1976 as a wheelchair basketball program at the Royal Ottawa Hospital. Today it is a flourishing organization operating under a board of directors, elected from its general membership. We have over 40 athletes in our House League program, and are represented in the Quebec Divisions of the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League by 2 teams, the Royals (AAA), and the Jazz (AA).
