• Workshop 1: Thursday 19th November - 10.30am
• Workshop 2: Thursday 26th November - 10.30am
• Workshop 3: Thursday 3rd December - 10.30am

Is your child starting Prep in 2021?

Starting Prep Together workshop will connect you with other parents and carers whose children with disability or developmental delays are also starting Prep in your local area.

Together, you’ll support each other as you share knowledge and learn how to build positive partnerships with your child’s school for the start of Prep and throughout the school years.

To get the most out of this series, parents and carers are strongly encouraged to attend all three workshops.

Our workshop facilitators are all parents who have supported their own children with disability or developmental delays, make the transition to school.

The workshop looks at:

• Creating a local network of support by meeting other parents and carers
• Building positive partnerships with your child’s school
• School processes and how to use them effectively - SSGs, IEPs, PSD
• Supporting your child with the transition to school
• Planning ahead once your child has started school

• This online workshop runs over 3 weeks and each session is 60 minutes
