Next and Best Practices in Achieving Employment for College Students with Disabilities Webinar

Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 1 PM - 2:30 PM EST

This FREE webinar is brought to you by the US Business Leadership Network's Going for the Gold Program, and the Chairs of the Career Special Interest Group of the Association on Higher Education and Disability(AHEAD).  We invite you to this webinar to learn innovative techniques and best practices to improve your students' odds of becoming employed after graduation. You will hear from Career and Disability Student Services' representatives who have successfully collaborated to assist students with disabilities to find internships, mentoring opportunities, co-ops and employment; learn about a unique course created at the University of California at Berkeley, and replicated at several universities, designed to help college students with disabilities transition from college to careers; and hear from an employer who has successfully collaborated with a university's disability services office that has resulted in new connections, new hires, and ongoing targeted events to feed their student talent pipeline.
