Northwest Employment Works is an Employment Ontario Assessment Centre offering a variety of programs & services geared to helping job seekers & employers achieve their job search & recruitment & training goals.

The Ontario Addiction Treatment Centres  (OATC) were founded in 1995. At that time, treatment for opioid agonist therapy, utilizing methadone, was extremely under-serviced and those seeking treatment often were forced to travel hundreds of kilometers to seek care.

The Arthritis Society has been setting lives in motion for over 65 years, and is dedicated to a vision of living well while creating a future without arthritis. Founded in British Columbia in 1948 by Mary Pack and Dr. Wallace Graham, The Society is Canada’s principal health charity providing education, programs and support to the over 4.6 million Canadians living with arthritis.

Independent Living is premised on the philosophy that all people with disabilities have skills, determination, creativity and a passion for life, yet many are unable to fully participate in the economic, political and cultural life because barriers to full citizenship persist in Canadian society outdated attitudes, inflexible laws and regulations, and fragmented and uncoordinated approach to everything from hiring, to housing, to public transportation.

Adult & Teen Challenge is a Christian discipleship program aimed at helping people who are struggling with addiction. It was founded in 1958 by the late Rev. David Wilkerson (author of The Cross & The Switchblade). There are now 1400 programs operating 125 countries, including those in Central Canada: Brandon, Winnipeg, Denare Beach & Thunder Bay.
