This program operates on a non-urgent, walk-in basis where people receive access to assessment and treatment within the same visit. Medical treatment plans and supports are offered based on the unique needs and goals of the individual.

Counsellors adhere to confidentiality and only communicate with the student regarding their program, progress and accommodations. Any communication with College faculty staff and administration supporting student success will not disclose the nature of a disability.
The Ontario Addiction Treatment Centres (OATC) were founded in 1995. At that time, treatment for opioid agonist therapy, utilizing methadone, was extremely under-serviced and those seeking treatment often were forced to travel hundreds of kilometers to seek care.

The College will provide supports and services to all students with disabilities, both temporary and permanent, with valid supporting documentation. Interim accommodation requests will be received in good faith and can be provided pending receipt of medical documentation. Retroactive accommodations will be considered based on the unique circumstances of the individual matter. The College will give all Human Rights Code-related requests for accommodation meaningful consideration.
The Student Counselling Centre at the University of Windsor provides free, confidential counselling to registered students as well as consultation and referral services for University of Windsor faculty and staff.

CATP is comprised of a team of Healthcare Professionals and Support Teams to provide care and support to individuals affected by opioid addiction.
