Specialized Transit service is intended for persons with physical or functional disabilities affecting mobility unable to use Barrie Transit's accessible fixed route public transit system. Specialized Service is a door to door shared ride accessible public transit service available on a temporary, seasonal or permanent basis, depending on the registered user’s eligibility.
Specialized Transit enables you to stay active in your community! Registered clients may use it for appointments, school, shopping, visiting family and friends, social outings, anywhere you need to go within the City of Barrie.

Towards Recovery Clinics Inc. (TRC) are drug treatment rehab centers in Ontario with the philosophy to help individuals take control of their addiction and help them rebuild their lives and careers.
Independent Living Services exists to provide support and services to people with physical disabilities or limitations in Simcoe County, to assist them to lead dignified, productive and independent lives.

trueNorth Medical Centres provides comprehensive addiction medicine services to individuals within Ontario who are facing substance use challenges. This program operates on a non-urgent, walk-in basis where people receive access to assessment and treatment within the same visit. Medical treatment plans and supports are offered based on the unique needs and goals of the individual.

Epilepsy Simcoe County has been operating in the City of Barrie to support the needs of approximately 5,000 people in Simcoe County living with epilepsy, for almost 40 years. We offer a place where people can come for information, support, financial assistance and socialization.
