We are offering the CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities as an online course.
The course starts on Monday the 1st of February and will take 4 weeks to complete. (You can complete the course sooner if you wish)
You will have a weekly online lesson with your tutor every Monday which will last around 2-3 hours starting at 10am each day. You will then have access to an online learning platform with tutorials. You can contact your tutor at anytime via email to for additional support.
The course covers:
•Unit 01 Understand the context of supporting individuals with learning disabilities
• Unit 02 Principles of safeguarding and protection in health and social care
• Unit 03 Introduction to personalisation in social care
• Unit 04 Principles of positive risk-taking for individuals with disabilities
• Unit 05 Introductory awareness of Autistic Spectrum Conditions
• Unit 06 Principles of supporting individuals with a learning disability to access healthcare
To be eligible for this course you must have lived in the EU/UK for 3 years, be earning less than £17,000pa and be over 18.
