Let's Talk About Mental Health: Teen Presentation

Friday, August 20, 2021 at 7 PM - 8 PM EDT

This is a free training event facilitated by Abrazar for the Children’s Mental Health Access Collaborative Program, a project of the Multi-Ethnic Collaborative of Community Agencies (MECCA).

In this training, we will provide a safe space for participants to connect with others and share their mental health stories, journeys, perceptions, attitudes in a positive and supportive environment. We will educate participants about mental health, provide insight on why support is important, how to be supportive, and emphasize acceptance and understanding to those with mental health conditions. We will educate participants about discrimination in relation to mental health and challenge the stigma and beliefs about mental health. We will provide resources and information on services and encourage participants to reach out for help when faced with mental health challenges.

If you have any questions or concerns, you can email: [email protected].
