• Modular Prosthetic Limb (MPL), Johns Hopkins University developed increases movement and feel
• Osseointegration used to connect Compress® (compressive device) precisely on to residual limb, creating an implant-bone connection
• Then a titanium implant connected the compressive device with the prosthetic
• Targeted muscle reinnervation was also used to reassign arm and hand nerves for better use and control of the MPL
