"Parent Implemented Interventions to Address Feeding Concerns of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders"
Featuring Lori Vincent, PhD, Assistant Professor at University of Cincinnati
This Ignite Speaker Series presentation is centered around feeding challenges among children with ASD and how those challenges may have a significant impact for both the child and the family. Generalizing outcomes from feeding therapy to the home and community settings can be especially challenging. This presentation will provide an overview of evidence-based behavioral feeding strategies and focus on effective and feasible strategies that caregivers can implement in the home setting. Strategies for therapists providing caregiver training to address feeding will also be discussed.
