SHOWAbility (formerly ABEL2 Inc.) is offering monthly Inclusive Masterclasses all 2021! Each class will uniquely provide eductional and entertaining courses led by led by leaders, advocates, and professionals within the disability arts community

The instructor is Acting Coach, Theatre Director, and Arts Leader ELIZABETH LABBE-WEBB

Elizabeth Labbe-Webb joined the staff of Core Dance in September 2016 and was asked to assume the duties of Executive Director in January 2017.  Prior to this she was the Executive Director of VSA arts of Georgia where she spent ten years working in Community Development and access to the arts for people with disabilities. Elizabeth has extensive experience working with non-profit organizations in the areas of fundraising and development, board development, and grant development.  In previous positions she has been responsible for curriculum design, marketing and promotions, program development, strategic plan development, and customer relationship management. Elizabeth has been involved in the formation of several non-profit arts service groups, is an award winning theatre director and costumer, and a respected acting coach.  She earned her BA in Theatre Arts from Kent State University, and she holds an MBA, with a concentration in Marketing and Strategic Leadership, from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. 

 

Elizabeth is alumna of the Metro Atlanta Arts Fund Arts Leaders program, and the Georgia Center for Non-Profits CEO Central. She adjudicated the Governor's Honors Awards in Theatre for several years and mentors young women with disabilities around the country pursuing careers in the arts. She is a long time member of the Leadership in Disability Center's Community Steering Committee and works tirelessly advocating for truly inclusive communities. secondary education from Troy Univ., B.Mus. Percussion performance from U. West Georgia, and is currently a student at St. Mary of the Woods College enrolled in the music therapy equivalency program.
