The day is finally here! Highway to Health is going to premiere and we're throwing a Premiere Screening Party! Highway to Health is a brand new TV show premiering Nationally on the Bell Network mid November! Highway to Health is a travel show that explores how individuals and communities have been able to use different approaches to health to better their lives, overcome barriers and allow them to promote health in their own local and global communities

 

The best part? the Screening is also going to be a fundraiser for the Shelley Gautier Para-Sport Foundation partnered with Cycling Canada! Shelley is Canada's most accomplished cyclist coming off a perfect season! The Canadian Paralympic Committee will be in attendance, along with Gord Singleton, the first Canadian to ever hold a world record in cycling. Gord will be presenting Cycling Canada’s new award the “Inaugural Perfect Season of the Year Award 2018” to Shelley.

 

The Foundation is a platform that breaks down barriers for people with disabilities enabling them to participate in sports activities, create awareness of adaptive sports, remove stereotypes, and develop resources that encourage adaptive sports for people with disabilities.

 

We're aiming to raise $5000 at the event to purchase 6 tandem bicycles for the visually impaired so that they make empower themselves to take their health into their own hands. So join us
