HEARD is hosting monthly education sessions on policing and all forms of incarceration. HEARD will share information about mass incarceration, abolition, disability justice, mutual aid, transformative justice, and more. We hope to increase cross-movement solidarity with this education series.
March 20, 2021 - How can disabled communities improve advocacy with/for deaf/disabled/signing folks before, during and after incarceration?

The sessions will last for two hours with breaks and will be in ASL/English.
We will have ASL/English/Spanish interpretation, Deaf Interpreters, and live English captioning.
Each session will have presentation and interactive time.
