An excellent compliment to your accessible navigation toolkit, GoodMaps Outdoors was formerly known as Seeing Eye GPS. Now offered completely free, the app is available for both iOS and Android. It has features not available in other GPS apps, such as detailed intersection description, built-in route directions with detailed turning prompts, a bread-crumb waypoint route mode and the benefit of features suggested by users over the past eight years. Join Mike May as he shares the storied history of this app – and explains how it differs from GoodMaps Explore.
